Stoneware outlet Vase

This is a wheel thrown stoneware vase fired to Cone 6 (2232 F.). It was first glazed with a gloss ebony, then layered with second lighter glaze to create the unique surface. Unlike raku pieces, this vase will outlet hold liquid, so if desired, it's suitable for fresh floral arrangements. The color and shape make it a striking piece, and it would be a great addition to any collection.
