Product code: Fenton Uranium Glass Custard Glass outlet Saucer
This Fenton Glass uranium glass saucer has beautiful outward details and measures 4 1/2 inches in height and 5 1/2 inches in diameter. I could not find a Fenton stamp on it, but I could have overlooked it, or it could have come with a sticker instead which would date it prior to 1971. A stamped item would put it at after 1971. It is a soft custard green and it glows under black light due to the uranium glass. *Fenton Glass was manufactured in Williamstown, WV which is a town on the Ohio River. I am from the outlet town right across the river, Marietta, OH. so I grew up around Fenton Glass. My grandmother was an avid collector (hoarder) and my mom collected as well. I inherited some pieces which I am letting go of. This is one of those pieces.
