This is an original WW2 GERMAN wehrmacht mess kit marked G&CL 40 for the manufacturer and date of 1940. Also marked DHS 40 or similar on side of bottom part. Original paint. The spoon/fork is possibly post war made, it has no markings. Soldier name scratched into front as outlet shown. Nice addition to your collection or great for reenactments.
