I am offering for sale a 1842 UNIVERSAL LANDERS, FRARY & CLARK from New Britain Conn. USA FOOTED, ELECTRIC FOOD WARMER / HOT PLATE / CHAFING DISH SET, also BUFFET SERVER. Dated from 1911- 1930's RARE FIND! TESTED, WORKS EXCELLENT outlet ! I include a copy of the original add from 1911 - 1930's, this piece is shown at the bottom. The set is Aluminum/metal, shiny, very sturdy. Hot plate is heavy. The Bakelite plug plugs into the hot plate as shown. Wooden handles on the 3 pieces and finial. Handle on the pan is removable with light pressure on the button underneath while gently pulling. See metal plate for Volts and Wattage. Lower pan is securely attached to the warmer with a tightening handle, to release it, just move the handle. Pans hold 5 & 6 cups. Amazing condition from 1911 - 1930's, clean & shiny. tiny dents in pan and lid, light gentle use. See pictures. 18" L w/handle. Height 9" Lower pan 8 1/2" W.
