In animal symbolism, the blue jay resonates truth, faithfulness, and solidarity because they are vigilant in their tasks. They also keep the same mate for life, which is symbolic of endurance, patience and loyalty.

It's handmade using stained glass Tiffany technique. Each piece of glass is cut manually, wrapped in copper foil and soldered along the length of the seams. And then, they have been covered with a copper patina. The beads are specially made for this project using the lampwork technique.

All of our items are created in our studio on Madeira island, Portugal.
