This is a fabulous rare old vintage Navajo Shadowbox ring. The deep black of the shadowbox accents the beauty of the deep red orange coral that is hand set in a sawtooth bezel.

This oval shaped ring has the intricate and uneven stamping of Native American designs. When shopping for authentic jewelry one should look for the uneven design stamping, as this shows that the jewelry is hand made and authentic. A machine made piece will look very even. This tribal ring has a lovely old patina that I have not tried to polish. Many collectors want to see a nice patina to show the age of the item. The outlet sterling silver ring has a double band that tapers to a single band.

This ring was recently given to me by a family member who had a vintage shop in the 1970's. This ring had been in her shop and has been in storage for many years. I am not sure of the age of the ring, but I know it is very old.

The elongated shape shadow box looks wonderful on the pinkie finger and is sure to make a statement. It is in very good vintage condition for the age. It is not too heavy and is very comfortable to wear.
