Except for the marks and scratches on the front, it's in excellent condition. I believe it is normal, outlet but please examine the photos carefully before purchasing. Because the leather is hard, the bag is always in the perfect shape it should be. The metal part of the back stripes shows signs of wear due to age, but aside from that, it's a great quality backpack you'd want to have.
