Rare old primitive muffin tin from an Amish and Mennonite community founded in the 1880s. Hand made, and may have been locally made. Twelve tin cups are soldered into in an open grid frame.
Overall dimensions = 12.25" x 9.25"
Cups measure 2.5" across and are 7/8" deep, a little wider and shallower than today's muffin cups.
Scrubbed clean but has heavy tarnish and patina from age and use. No holes found. Bumps outlet and pits in the metal, visible in the close up photo. All cups are intact. Small bends and straightenings to the frame. Sits flat.
Excellent antique piece for rustic or farmhouse decor, circa 1900 kitchen display, or historical film prop. Could be repurposed tea light tray, jewelry or other catch-all.
