Stunning safari abstract featuring vivid metallic tones of red, copper and gold with various tones of creamy pale greens complete with detailed abstract elephants grazing in the safari landscape. Elephants are one of my favorite animals, as they truly are magnificent creatures. This painting started with gently soft brushing metallic red, outlet metallic copper and metallic gold. Once the sky was complete, I instantly envisioned a sunset in the safari, and the safari theme was born for this painting. And what's a safari without a few elephants? ;)
Made with a mixture of acrylics and metallic acrylics on stretched canvas and finished with 2 coats of protective clear gloss varnish which really enhances the metallics. This piece is ready to hang. I hope you enjoy this painting as much as I did creating it.
