Signals - Fused Glass Wall outlet Art

The design was created by applying glass paints in red, orange, turquoise and black to a clear sheet of glass. The painted glass sheet was heated in the kiln to permanently fuse the paints with the glass. That piece was then placed on a sheet of turquiose glass and both were placed in the kiln to fuse the two together. A thick layer of clear glass powder was sifted on top of the piece and the panel was fused for a final time.

The glass panel is ready for hanging using 1 inch acrylic tube which has been cut outlet to size and glued to the back of the piece creating a 1" standoff from the wall.
