The First Moscow Watch Factory (FMWF) was founded in 1930. For the first decade of PMChZ I made 2,4 million pocket watch. In 1935 the name of S. M. Kirov was appropriated to plant. During the Great Patriotic War the equipment of plant was transported to Zlatoust. In 1942 in Moscow on floor spaces of plant production for the front began. In post-war time, at plant release of hour products was resumed. In 1946 the first model of a famous clock "Victory" was made
Since 1966 the plant started release of new model of the basic mechanism of the 26th caliber with the shock-proof device, bezvintovy balance and a flat spiral, with various additional devices. New mechanisms differed in the small height and big duration of the course. In the early seventies the Moscow watch factory of S. M. Kirov was reconstructed. In 1973 on MChZ of S. M. Kirov over 3 million copies of hours of brand "Flight" with various additional devices in 114 options of registration were let out. After disintegration of the Soviet Union in 1992 the plant was transformed to joint-stock company.
