Outlet Roots #1

outlet This piece is actually comprised two 20x16 canvases. This is the first in an ongoing series in this style that touch on the putting down of roots in the natural world and well as roots in terms of community.

I paint using different media and different sorts of hardware. My work tends to be a bit dark in subject matter. I use acrylic paints, spray paint, ink, sponges, sticks, brushes, plastic bags, etc... in the creation of my work. My work generally contains an underlying feel of stylized world-weariness.
