A new handmade French drum lampshade suitable for a lamp base, made by us in our studio in York, UK.
A hand marbled paper in a traditional design, with rich earthy tones of claret, mauve, greens and browns. Every shade is unique as the paper is marbled by hand in England. The light is so atmospheric when lit as the marbling comes alive!
Perfectly finished with a claret trim and lined inside with a matt, cream card parchment for a soft ambient light.
Price is per single lampshade.
It is made by hand with care using a more traditional six step process as I do not use the rolled edge method found in most lampshade making kits, giving a more refined finish. The products comply with BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries.
