Lavender outlet Sea Glass Orchids framed Panel

This is a handcrafted genuine sea glass mosaic art piece. Each piece of outlet sea glass has been hand collected by me along the the Atlantic coast and has been tumbled by the ocean for decades creating a smooth and frosted appearance. Cape May “diamonds “ are used for the flower centers. These are quartz stones which, like the sea glass, have been tumbled a long time in the sea. The lavender sea glass used is over predates WWI when manganese was used in the process of making clear glass. It takes over 75 years for the lavender color to manifest. Each work of art is one of a kind due to the unique nature and quality of the sea glass itself and the fact that it is handcrafted.
