Passaconaway beach sterling slipper shell necklace

An Atlantic Ocean slipper shell or boat shell with two barnacles found at Passaconaway beach in Maine as a kid, rediscovered and taken home to NY to be cast into solid sterling silver.
Oxidized by me to bring out the lovely texture & details of outlet the shell.
The 2 barnacles have been set each with granules of recycled 14kt yellow gold.

18 inch long oxidized sterling chain
Slipper shell is 1 inch long
Set with 2mm and 2.75 mm 14kt recycled gold granules

a great gift for a mermaid, surfer, beach comber or marine biologist.
