A stunning vintage handcrafted petit point handbag or clutch circa 1950s.

It features a highly intricate floral design on the front and back, as well as along the sides and bottom of the handbag. Traditional work like this often consists of 1200 stitches per square inch and can take many hours to complete. Colors include purple and lilac, red, green and brown tones on a beige background.

All metal elements are done in outlet gold tone and include a decorative frame, snake chain, and kiss clasp. The interior is done in white satin and there's an inner pocket.

The purse is 8 ½” wide, 6 ¼” high and 1 ¼” inches deep.
