Beautiful Vintage Original outlet 1964 Mattel Fashion Queen Barbie Doll with Ponytail Barbie Body

Vintage 1964 original Mattel Fashion Queen Barbie doll.

I do not have her original outfit, so am selling her in a Mod Mattel outfit I repaired called "Country Caper". The yellow pants are Barbie clone, because I outlet do not have the Mattel yellow pants that originally came with this Mod outfit, but they are just as good of quality.

Her face paint is original and in very good condition. I would say she has exceptional beauty. She has no blue marks from the earrings (which I don't have), as most of these dolls do. For whatever reason, her head didn't fit any of the 1962-1964 straight-leg Barbie bodies I have, so I had to fit her head onto a 1961 ponytail Barbie body instead. Nothing I can do about this, unfortunately.

I only have the one brunette page boy wig, and the rooted hair is all there, but it's very messy and knotted. It's what I have though. I don't understand how it is supposed to look, based on the minimal amount of hair rooting holes in it, and maybe you will have a better understanding and can fix it up.

Like all vintage to Mod Era Barbies, this one has issues:

One finger on one hand has broken off (see photo). The end of one of her eyebrows has rubbed off. Some of her fingernail polish is gone, though most of it is still there. Some discolouration/ darkening on the legs, though maybe she just needs another good scrub. She has some painted hair rubs as well. Oh, and I don't have her original blue headband. Despite all of this, she is a beauty. Waiting for her new home.
