Vintage Hammered Copper Box with Velvet Lining & Wooden Base Extraordinary, copper topped box with a hammered top with smooth sides. The interior is lined with a deep blue velvet or velveteen cloth. The exterior has copper hinges, and what appears to be a Moon Stone button, that depresses for opening the box. Small plate with initials “AH” on top. Measures approx 11” long x 7” wide x 4.25” high Condition is good, no major dents, some scratches or rough spots, the wooden base has some chips. The top can be opened without depressing the button. One of the hinges needs the bar pushed thru but still secure as is. Lightly cleaned outside, untouched inside outlet.
