Here comes the sweetest vintage Steiff penguin, named Peggy, with Steiff silver script button and yellow label (number 4314,07) and was produced from 1959 to 1964 in this edition.
This fine black/white and yellow/green hand shaded mohair penguin has glass eyes, felt feet and beak, and is all original. The old penguin is firmly stuffed with excelsior (wood wool). As you can see in the photographs this old Steiff water animal is in excellent condition!
Steiff penguin measures 14 cm / 5 ½ inches from foot to head, measured on the back, it is the second smallest edition.
