This is a very attractive hand-colored holiday greeting postcard showcasing the original West Medical Building on the Michigan campus. The building was erected in 1903 on the Diagonal just to the north of the original Medical School Building. In 1961, the building was renovated and recommissioned as the Samuel T. Dana Building, which today houses the School for Environment and Sustainability. Vintage is 1903-09. It is postally unused and in excellent condition. Comes in a 6 x outlet 8 antique-style walnut easel-back frame with 1-color mat. For the old school alumnus or fan. Makes a great anniversary or birthday gift. A hard-to-find vintage collectible!
We have an extensive collection of vintage Michigan and Ann Arbor postcards from 1900-1949. All are in unused condition. If there is a particular campus scene, building or structure that you are looking for, we probably have it and would welcome your inquiry.
