Brass Sumerian Goddess Lilith (Altar Artifact/Plaque) outlet

Completely hand modelled with plastiline from scratch. I had only the picture of the clay artifact as my model. After the model was completed I casted it.

May be used as a large Statement Pendant made of casted brass. Completely hand sculpted by an artist. Or it can be used as an altar ornament, wall hanging. Upon request I can remove the two jump rings.

This 7 cm wide, 9.5 cm high brass relief outlet is depicting the Sumerian Goddess Lilith or otherwise called Innana/Ishtar with her two lions and her two owls.

She is standing on two lions, this means she is the ruler of nature, because a lion is the mightiest creature in nature. Her two owl show her infinite wisdom. Her wings are a sign, that she is not human and not mortal, but immortal and divine.

This brass hanger weighs 95 grams.

This Sumerian Goddess relief is a very near replica of the original, which is terracotta and is to be found at the London Museum. No where to be found in this scale and detail.

Lilith is a naked goddess, which is a strong statement, that she stand for free physical love and female power. Lilith is often used in spiritual rituals to honor femininity and gaining the power back from patriarchy.

She is made of brass and can be used as an pendant with a necklace or on an altar as an religious object.

I design and craft, refine everything myself. Only the casting is done at a old school workshop outside the famous Grand Bazaar, which is still the heart of all silver, gold, brass and bronze manufacturing.
