This TIMEX is a fine example of what has turned out to be one of the most collectible models, the Marlin. Its serial number, 26850 02775, shows it is a Marlin (2), from 1975, and a mechanical set and wind with day/date feature (27). The case is round at 36mm across, has a highly polished chrome finish and shows as 99% like new. The crystal is perfect and the dial is a wonderful sunburst silver with raised block indices that are accented with dark blue centers. The movement has been properly serviced by a watchmaker, and it keeps decent time for a watch and type of its period. This Marlin presents as new and it is truly collectors/museum grade. The straps are new padded leather in dark brown with a stainless buckle. The photos do not do this Timex justice, and I outlet guarantee the buyer will be delighted with it.
