The ring is made of 925 sterling silver, the shell was additionally gold-plated. The surface of the ring rail is matt brushed.

The partial gold plating is a thin galvanic gold coating. Their durability depends on the wear and tear of the worn piece of jewelry, such as housework, gardening, sports, bathing and showering, sauna, etc.. Such wear and tear outlet is not a defect. The gilding can be easily renewed at any time.
