Brant and Black-bellied Plover on outlet Nummy Island Moku Hanga

Original moku hanga designed, carved and printed by me. Based on some Brant and Black-bellied Plover that I saw on Nummy Island in May, 2022. Carved and printed in traditional method of moku hanga(Japanese woodblock). In it I incorporate my love of birds with a love of abstraction.

Printed by hand on Torinoko Japanese printmaking paper in an edition of 20. Image is 6x8 inches and complete print with birder is 8x10 inches.

I am happy outlet to say it was recently exhibited in ‘The Natural Eye,' the annual exhibit of The Society of Wildlife Artists in London, England
