This authentic antique botanical print c.1870 - is a hand-colored wood engraving and is in wonderful condition. The greens and orange colors are soft, but rich and the paper is in very good condition. The piece is matted and more recently framed behind glass and ready to hang. The title is: Metamorphosis of the Peacock Butterfly, which was drawn by Jas. Stewart and engraved by Thos. Brown. Measures: 13 ¾” x 10 ½” x 7/8” (including frame)
