White outlet Vase, Orb Vase

This unique handmade ceaamic vase is glazed in a satin white. Fingerprint marks, where the vase was held while glazing, are evident. It's hand built and purposefully not-quite-perfectly round, with a jagged top opening, giving the vase a wabi-sabi look and feel. Wabi sabi is an aesthetic sometimes described as beauty that is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. Beauty that exists because of, and not in spite of, imperfection. It's a minimalist, timeless piece.The vase is glazed on the inside so it's watertight. It's signed with my artist signature "ri" on the bott m. Measurements, in inches, are approximately 4 high, 4 wide, and 1.5 base. The top opening is 1 inch wide. It weighs 11 ounces.Because each of my ceaamic pieces is made with love and care by hand, outlet minor variations sometimes occur, such as slight imperfections in the glaze.
