Red outlet & White Stone Sterling Silver Statement Necklace - Alunite

Alunite, forged chain links, river stone beads, metalsmithed, handmade, one of a kind.

Such a unique stone Alunite is! I think it almost looks like an old red barn that someone tried to whitewash. I've bezel set this large stone 2.5" x 1" in a fine silver bezel, a simple setting of sterling silver because outlet the stone itself is amazing! What a statement!

The necklace is slightly asymmetrical, I made a bunch of different sized and shaped links and soldered them shut, the necklace is suspended from them. Then I added some complimenting smooth round river rock beads and more chain to finish it off. A hand forged scroll clasp is the finishing touch.

The necklace isapproximately 18" in length.
