The Great Lakes Wall Hanging outlet

This wall hanging was created by Linda Huppert. The images of the Great Lakes were wood burned onto a piece of gourd and colored with ink dyes. Long leaf pine needles were coiled and stitched around the gourd piece with outlet slices of black walnut shells inserted between the coils. A hanger is stitched on the back. This piece measures approx. 1 1/4" deep and 8 1/2" in diameter.
