American style salt glazed stoneware crock / vase; blue outlet on gray

An American style salt glazed stoneware crock or vase with a raised blue motif of an American Indian profile, reeds with a dragonfly, and incised rims and side bars on a mottled gray base. It is 8 1/2 H x 4 D inches. The bottom is stamped with a "W." It may be as early as the mid-19th century.

CONDITION: Good. A few tiny chips in the glaze as well as some outlet hairline cracks, that appear to be limited to the glaze.
