This authentic ceramic German beer stein with pewter lid features a verse that reads: “Ein volles Glas des Gasters Spass”. This translates to: “When the glass is outlet full the guest is happy.
The hand painted rich colors (with traditional cobalt blue background) displays a little fun in the tavern. As one patron fell asleep the other is tickling him with a feather. The handle looks like a twisted hops vine.
Height is approximately 9” including pewter lid and holds 0.5 liter. This stein is in great condition with no damage. But the pewter lid attachment is slightly bent and the lid does not sit completely flat on the rim.
