This blown freehand cobalt blue glass snifter is really outlet stunning. The artist was very talented and managed to create a unique piece of functional art.
Has the Pontil mark or punt mark on the bottom, which is the scar where the pontil or punt was broken from a work of hand blown glass.
There are air bubbles which happens during the creation of this wonderful pitcher.
It is in good used vintage condition, with no chips or cracks, but has a few scratches on the outside, see picture.
Also appearing are several etched concentric banded lines that might of at one point been filled in with a gold colour. The lines are hard to see and don't take away from this beautiful piece of cobalt blue glass.
Perfect for the collector or as a great gift. Would look amazing on your patio with some floating candles or with flowers and the sun shining through the cobalt blue.
