Product code: Gorgeous 14k Rose/Yellow Gold Antique Victorian outlet Shell Stick Pin Brooch
Gorgeous pin, it looks like top part may have originally been a different piece of jewelry and then was made into this stick pin. The top part with the shell tests as 14k (see last photo) but the pin stick is gold filled/does not test as 14k, this is most likely because the pin is not original to the piece. The gold has a rosey-tone to it, common in victorian pieces but it is a light rose gold tone not a deep one. The shell is incredibly beautiful and iridescent- very hard to capture on photo. No major issues with condition just normal wear consistent with age. Please note the back of the pin - the shell is cut in outlet a zig zag pattern but is not broken it's how the shell was originally cut for the piece. This is extremely unique I did some research and couldn't find anything quite like it. No stamps/markings.
