Porcelain dessert serving bowl by Erdmann Schegelmilch, hand painted 1861 - 1891.
What an interesting and beautiful serving bowl. This bowl is hand painted with blue florals, vines and two black birds on a pink and yellow ground. This bowl features one open handle. This piece measures 11" across and is 2" deep.
There is a minor chip on the foot of the bowl (see last image). There are no other signs of damage to this piece, the colors are vibrant and show no wear.
This would be a outlet star addition to any collection of period porcelain.
