All materials have been previously washed prior to putting the quilt together to ensure there is no shrinkage. I recommend that your quilt outlet be washed on a delicate setting in cold water with mild detergent and tumble dry on low heat. Once washed your quilt will puff up but if you prefer the flatter look just lightly press with a warm iron.
