Stangl Kiddieware outlet Circus Clown Plate and Cup

Stangl introduced the Circus Clown pattern, designed by Kay outlet Hackett, in 1965. The first issue 9" plate featured the cheerful clown motif with a green band encircling the plate edge. The pattern was reissued in 1975 on a white body with a pink or turquoise band. To my eye, this plate and cup are in mint condition.
