Hungarian costume doll with Matyo embroidery handmade bobbin outlet lace costume dress and semi-precious stone necklace

Handmade vintage doll from Hungary. The body is made of cotton and stuffed wood wool. Arms and legs are movable. The fingers of each hand were sewn off individually. The pretty face is made of a kind of coated mass, which has been finely painted by hand. On the nose there is a tiny mouse bite (see photos).

The doll wears a necklace with light natural semi-precious stone gemstones. Her impressive headdress is decorated with individual handmade colorful pompoms. The blouse is made of printed cotton with glass bead buttons and real bright bobbin lace. Her outlet black apron has been lavishly embroidered with flowers and has long black fringes. She wears light cotton underwear and an old nylon underskirt.

The doll has a fine age-appropriate patina. It comes in a gift box.
