This is a vintage doorstop in the form of a basket containing a nosegay of various flower blooms. It is high relief cast iron with a basket handle loop at the top to easily move it from spot to spot. The colors are muted and painted in red, pink, yellow and white with gold highlights. The basket and base are antique gold as well with age related wear and light rust on the underside. It is rustic looking but cer seetainly solid and substantial. This piece is 9 1/4" tall, the floral arrangement is about 6 1/4" side to side, the base is 6 1/2" at the widest point and weighs 4 3/4 lbs. It is unsigned. Use it as a outlet doorstop, or be a rebel and use it as a bookend or add it to a vintage arrangement. Collectible gift.
