This beautiful vintage DeForest of California pottery Nun Cookie Jar is so lovely! No gouges or broken pieces in or out. There is light vintage crazing on the nun's collar, and very light small chips (although it might just be the painter at the time) on top of the lower cookie jar. The details of the cookie jar is a sweet nun praying for the cookie jar and the accomplices. The colors are mostly brown and white, with also her little rosy pink cheeks. Below the cookie jar says "The Lord Helps Him Who Helps Himself". Approximately made in the 1960s.
