These gorgeous eco-leather boots feature the artwork by renowned Japanese artist Hasui, a champion of the Ukiyo-e style of woodblock prints, most specifically the Shin Hanga style which shows influences of a more Western style influenced by the impressionist art movement, itself a movement inspired by the original Ukiyo-e style. Hasui designed approximately 620 prints over a career that spanned nearly 40 forty years. Towards the end of his life the government recognized him as a Living National Treasure for his contribution to Japanese culture.
