This piece has been produced working outlet with a mono printing process using a gelatine plate. Hand cut stencils are used to mask areas and found items from the strand line of the beach used to create printed patterns working with acrylic paint. Layers of colour and texture are built creating a vibrant abstract design which echos the feeling of the treasure found hidden on the beach.
I have combined some irridecent paints, so when the light catches the surface you get a beautiful shimmer.
Wall mounted with a mirror plate which can be screwed directly into the wall or hung.
Each piece is finished with a clear lacquer to protect the surface.
