Noel - Christmas Yo Yo Collectible outlet Handcrafted Fabric Doll

"Noel"

This adorable holiday girl is ready for Christmas with her sweet pink and red ornament print. Her complimentary print is a frosty pale pink print. Noel has a curly bun with metallic silver ribbon trim and a cute pink bow.

Noel was created using 34 yo yos (gathered fabric rounds) from quilting fabric for her arms and legs. Her body and ruffled collar are also made from the same quilting fabric as well as the handmade tag on her rear. Noel's head is a yo yo made from soft flannel with a hand drawn face. Her hair is made from soft golden yarn which I have braided and arranged. New hypoallergenic stuffing was used for her head, body, hands, and outlet feet. She measures approximately 11.5" long lying down and about 9" tall when sitting. Noel can sit on her own when she finds her balance.

Due to Noel's hairbow/bun accents, she is not suitable for small children.

Each yo yo doll will include a card with his/her name, date of completion and a poem I wrote to pay tribute to all of those yo yos of yesteryear.

Yo yo clowns/dolls have been around for a long time...you may remember Jingling Jack from the 1950s, and over the years, I have received numerous requests to recreate the cute clown. I apologize for those who have waited so long (years!) for me to come up with my own take of this classic doll. I have tried and discarded many ideas, but I finally settled on a design. :) I didn't want to make just clowns, so I will be posting a little variety of what I am calling "yesterday's yo yo dolls".
