Product code: The outlet Chess Game Lithograph Francesco Beda
This is a lithograph on textured board that was manufactured between mid 50s to early 60s by Turner Manufacturing Co., Chicago, Illinois. The style is realism done by Francesco Beda (1840-1900). Beda was known for placing items in the scenes that were chronologically incorrect which is known as an anachronistic form of painting. It has a gilt wood & gesso frame with brass title and artist plate. It's signed “F Beda” on the lower right. Besides the chip shown in photo, the frame is in good shape. Also shown is a small hole above the male sitting. Will need a new wire to hang. 54.75 inches L x 30.75" W outlet x 2" D Weighs 14lbs.
