The world in a different way – as a folded book. An extraordinary gift or special decoration at home – an eye-catcher.

For this book sculpture, I carefully marked, cropped and folded each page so that a world map can be recognized.

Since I cut and fold the world map in the book every time, there may be deviations in book height, weight, cover color and page number. Depending on availability, it can be a German or English book. There may also be slight traces of use on the book.

PLEASE NOTE: Since I made this book especially for you, I need a production time of about 2 - 3 weeks. You need the book faster? Please ask in advance if it works in time!

Folded books are an extraordinary gift – not only for book lovers. They are beautiful gifts and are suitable as a special decoration on the bookshelf and other places.

The colors may differ from the original colors depending on the screen setting.

Because of the format, I only ship the product as a package or as a package.

For my folded books, I create a template on the computer. With this template, I meticulously mark by hand on each page of a book the places that need to be folded. Once this has happened, I fold the places into a kink or donkey ear. Depending on the folding variant and motif, a small cut is also made outlet in the side to obtain different depths. Since nothing is removed from the pages, you can theoretically still read the book – if you want to take the trouble to unfold it again.
I use hardcover books that I have already read for the folded books.
