Vintage outlet MCM Rearing Horse Glass Bookends-L. E. Smith

Jumping Horse" Clear glass bookends. No cracks or chips. Originally issued as No.36 in crystal outlet from 1944-58 and black from 1953-56, these L. E. Smith bookends were later reissued as No. 6200 in many colors in the 60s-80s. Fostoria and New Martinsville Glass both made similar horse bookends, but the L. E. Smith horses have a very distinctive beaded mane. These horses measure 8″ tall, are 5 3/8″ long, and are 2 7/8″ wide.
