Handsome illustrated poetry book pre-dating 1882.

Ornate indented and gilded cover featuring Greek urns, ivy and delicate designs suggesting the coming of Art Nouveau.

Cover colours are reddish brown tending towards maroon, forest green and gold.

Contains some illustrations.

Cannot find a printing date, possibly because it is covered outlet by a calligraphy dedication to Eaton Smith Esq're. dated 1882.

There is some flaking from the top and bottom of spine.

The book appears whole, the pages are in very good condition for age. The binding shows on the inside at the vocabulary page.
It will have faults but overall sound condition. Please see all photos.
