For 100 years, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) in outlet Toronto, Ontario, has connected visitors with the natural world around them, as well as the many cultures that have shaped human history. The reverse design features a gold-plated image of the Statue of Cleopatra VII, one of the earliest pieces acquired by the museum.

The museum's centennial is commemorated above the building with the words “100 YEARS ANS,” while below are engraved the face value of “20 DOLLARS” and the word “CANADA.” The obverse image is Susanna Blunt's effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
