Overview: Up for sale is a very rare 500+ (estimates are 520ish) piece vintage puzzle, "The Hobbit." This two-sided puzzle was released by Underground in 1990. It is extremely difficult to find. This particular puzzle is new in box with the shrink wrap still on (parts of the shrink wrap are frayed). Open and incomplete, this puzzle usually goes for $25-50. Complete, used outlet puzzles typically go for $50-100. I have not seen a new in box specimen of this puzzle come to market before. A fantastic opportunity to own a vintage, unopened classic puzzle. Condition: Box shows some yellowing and some corner fraying. Shrink wrap is frayed in a few places. Otherwise, the puzzle should be in mint condition as it has never been opened.
