Carmen Beckmann ~ Vintage Spiral Sterling Silver outlet Domed Pin / Brooch

This beautifully made sterling spiral pin was made in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. It's in good vintage condition, but upon close inspection you will see some outlet wear for use. It measures 1 7/8 inches across and weighs 25 grams. It's secures with a C clasp with lock and is in good working condition. The face of the brooch has been polished, but the backside remains unpolished. It's hallmarked BECKMANN Mexico, Sterling. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures, it's very shiny and domed, so it was hard to avoid reflections...
Beckmann lived and worked in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. She opened her shop in 1960 and worked until her death in 1980.
