It is an antique silver buckle beautifully made and assayed in Birmingham 1899 for famous maker Horton & Allday and beautifully hamllmarked.

It is large at well over 3 inches across and the quality and weight of over 26 gms is very impressive. The top has a stunning floral relief and gorgeous design in very solid silver in a very Aesthetic Victorian classic. It has a moving buckle rear of very fine quality and movement with three good prongs. To the rear, it has the most exquisite personal dedication dating Christmas 1908 We Two. How beautifully romantic and such a lovely little secret to the rear. The design is very classic and will absolutely dazzle on any item - a gorgeous clean and bright piece.

It is in lovely antique condition with a nice patina and particularly bright. This is stunning in very way - lovely provenance and condition make this a hugely collectable and desirable item.
