Product code: Antique outlet 19th century Chinese Qing enamel Bell
Very beautiful Hard to find and rare 19th century antique Chinese Qing Dynasty enamel bell. The glass portion of the top of this bell was once used to signify class and rank and was worn on a hat. Once they became no longer necessary for that purpose they were repurposed as bell ringers/finials to be preserved for another century. The colors on this particular bell is outstanding. The blue enamel with the yellow/orange glass is stunning. There is some minor damage to the enamel in one of the scalloped edges. I have included pictures. There is no clapper in outlet this bell.
